and account numbers, internal memos, personnel and payroll information, financial
documents, technical reports, blueprints and drawings - all of these and more could cause
havoc for your business if they are not properly stored and destroyed at the appropriate

Disposal Services for Electronic Equipment
- (computers, monitors, phones and other data processing equipment) will be picked
up for dismantling and recycling in an environmentally correct manner while
providing security for information contained in the units.
Tightening EPA regulation regarding lead, mercury and other toxic chemicals in
the environment (toxicity characteristic rule) has caused concerns for companies
who dispose of such equipment in landfills.
Discarded computers and electronic equipment may contain toxic substance
as defined by U.S. EPA. (leaded glass found in cathode ray tubes; lead & silver
in printed circuit boards; mercury found in fluorescent lamps and other chemicals
found in batteries.)
DDS Inc. has formed an alliance with Environmental Recycling Toledo, Ohio to
provide this service to our clients who are concerned about the environment and
their responsibility in proper handling of this equipment and data.
Records Retention - DDS can now provide secure,
convenient storage of files and records for clients whose documents must be retained
for some time before destruction. A 20% discount will be given on destruction of records from a DDS storage facility.
Document Management System Audit - We know how important it is that all confidential documents are handled properly but we also realize that all documents with customer information do not make it into destruction containers. A single confidential document in the wrong hands could increase liability, create fines and lawsuits or even destroy a business. Auditing includes visiting your office/offices with a designated representative but on an unexpected basis. During this visit, procedures would be reviewed and select areas inspected for confidential information that may make it outside the office without being destroyed. Once the on-site audit has been performed, a complete report would be presented with recommendations.
Electronic Data Storage - DDS offers electronic data storage and back-up services through a strategic partner, Data Survival. Data back-ups are automated using a technology called e-vaulting.
